Hi,
my name is Amy Trinnaman and I am a leading education consultant expert.
With over two decades of experience in education, I have helped thousands of students realize their educational goals. My background spans college and career advising, special education, instruction, NCAA eligibility, dual enrollment coordination, school law and policy, and standardized test administration.

After 18 years of working in a public school district, I realized I couldn’t provide the level of individualized guidance that many students and families truly need to make a significant difference in college admissions outcomes. I transitioned to independent counseling to give families the time, attention, and strategic guidance they deserve—helping students find affordable schools where they will thrive both academically and socially.

I bring a comprehensive and student-centered approach to my practice. Having personally visited over 200 campuses, I offer firsthand insights to help students find the right academic, social, and financial fit.

I believe in high-touch, individualized support—listening patiently, offering strategic guidance, and empowering students to navigate the admissions process with confidence. As a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), I uphold the highest standards of ethics, expertise, and ongoing professional development. Staying informed through conferences and training ensures that my guidance reflects considerations in the ever-evolving landscape of college admissions.

Beyond my work with private clients, I am committed to educational equity, mentoring students through the QuestBridge application process, volunteering with Ukraine Global Scholars, and supporting students as part of The College Essay Guy’s Matchlighters program.

Whether guiding students toward their best-fit college, strengthening their applications, or providing expert insight into the admissions process, I am passionate about helping students connect to the right opportunities.

Here to help every step of the way,
Amy
